About
The Story
Toby Karlin is a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who has been choosing music every day since age 12. A graduate of Berklee College of Music and the Colburn School of the Performing Arts, he's spent nearly two decades creating original music for film, dance, and multimedia projects.
His work spans ambient atmospherics to high-energy funk, electronic synthwave to dramatic orchestral tension — whatever the project needs. A saxophonist at heart, he also plays bass, drums, percussion, guitar, keyboards, flutes, and any other instrument in front of him.
“People I may never have spoken to have told me that my music has touched them in some way — that's a strange and beautiful feeling, to connect with someone over the ethereal.”
